In addition to our standard building cover, we provide optional extensions to cover your home contents, personal belongings and your domestic helpers, which you can add to your standard building policy for a small additional premium. This policy covers for loss of or damage to the building due to

• Fire, Smoke, Lightning, Explosion, Earthquake
• Storm or Flood
• Riot, Civil Unrest, Strikes, Labour or Political Disturbances, Malicious Damage or Vandalism
• Aircraft, flying objects or anything falling from them, vehicles or animals
• Escape of water from water tanks, pipes or equipment or fixed heating or cooling systems
• Heating fuel leaking from a fixed heating system
• Theft or attempted theft
• Falling radio or television aerials (including satellite dishes)
• Falling trees or branches, lamp posts or telegraph poles
• Subsidence, Heave or Landslip
• Any other accidental damage

We understand and acknowledge that every individual has different priorities. That is why we offer a range of optional extensions so that you can get the right cover to suit your need. By paying a small additional premium for each extension, you can extend your basic Home Insurance to cover

We will provide cover for loss of or damage to the Contents in the Home caused by any
of the perils mentioned under Cover for Building/Home above, up to the Sum Insured you have chosen for this extension. The Sum Insured options for this cover and the additional premium for the same are as follows:

We will pay for your Personal Belongings, Valuables and Portable Equipment in the event of loss or damage by accidental means up to the Sum Insured chosen by you while within the Geographical Limits and while temporarily elsewhere in the world for not more than 90 days within the Period of Insurance.

We will pay the sum(s) shown below in the event that a Domestic Helper employed by you and named in the Schedule sustains accidental Bodily Injury during the Period of Insurance

• Death or Permanent Total Disablement
  AED 30,000
• Medical Expenses
  AED 10,000
• Repatriation Expenses
  AED 5,000

Repatriation Expenses include expenses necessarily and reasonably incurred for funeral expenses and/or in transporting the insured Domestic Helper back to his/her normal country of residence in the event of his/her death or permanent total disablement following an accidental Bodily Injury.
