Vehicle Insurance Covers

Our policies can be tailored to meet your specific fleet insurance needs, with a choice of comprehensive and third party liability cover for each vehicle insured.

Comprehensive Motor Insurance

It is the best option for you when you want your vehicles to be fully covered. Our Comprehensive policy covers for damages caused due to:

  • Fire occasioned by self-ignition or lightning
  • Theft, attempted theft or burglary
  • Malicious acts of others (i.e. vandalism, etc.)

Third Party Liability (TPL) Insurance

It is the minimum insurance required to drive your vehicle. Without TPL (which is part of the comprehensive insurance) cover, you are not allowed to drive your vehicle on public roads. TPL insurance covers damage that you may cause upon others in case of an accident but does not cover any damage to your vehicle or property or any injuries you may have following an accident.

Personal Accident Benefit Cover

The comprehensive insurance already covers you and the passengers in case of an accident. With the Personal Accident Cover, the benefits are extended even more.

Agency Repair

Repairs of your vehicle will always be done at your vehicle’s agency during the first year of its registration. However, after the first year, we may choose to repair it at QIC’s priority workshop we see fit for providing an equally good service.

Things to be aware of with your Fleet & Vehicles insurance policy

An insurance policy is a financial agreement between QIC and you. To protect your rights and to secure compliance of QIC as a financial organisation, the UAE has mandated how comprehensive and Third Partly Liability insurances works in terms of covers.

For Comprehensive Insurances

For private vehicles, we provide agency repair for 2 years from date of first registration. For Commercial vehicles, we provide agency repair of 1 year from date of first registration provided the vehicles comply with GCC standards and are purchased by UAE local dealers only.

Good to Know

There are times when your policy does not cover you

  • The driver of the vehicle does not hold a valid driver’s license.
