Qatar Insurance Group, Qatar’s leading insurance powerhouse is the national partner of Bayt Qatar and supports 38 athletes across ten sports that represent Team Qatar at this year’s Olympics held at Rio. Bayt Qatar is QOC’s Olympic hospitality house in Rio de Janeiro.

The Olympic Games which have commenced from 5th August have witnessed Qatar’s biggest athlete delegation in its history, with world champions and reigning Olympic medallists aiming to make the nation proud. As part of the agreement, QIC Group is providing travel insurance for Team Qatar and supports the QOC in its mission to create more Olympic heroes and raise awareness of and participation in Olympic sport.

Speaking about this important partnership, Mr. Khalifa Abdulla Turki Al-Subaey, Group President and CEO of QIC Group said, “Qatar Insurance Group is proud to become the National Partner for Team Qatar. QIC Group is fully focussed on being ranked amongst the top fifty insurers in the world.
