QIC Insured, the retail arm of Qatar Insurance Company (QIC), Qatar’s leading insurer announces the launch of a new bidding portal for salvaged cars that makes bidding and buying salvaged cars incredibly convenient. Dealers, companies and individual customers can now visit www.auction.qic-insured.com, find the car of their choice and place a bid the easy way!

To place a bid, customers would need to register, provide their contact details and civil ID. Once registered, customers can refine their search by using filters such as the make, model and year of the available cars. For an enhanced experience, customers can browse through the images of the salvaged car, select the car and submit their bid online. Customers can continue bidding for a selected car until the bid is awarded to the highest bidder. The highest bidder would then be routed to the payment gateway, where he can pay online via his credit card or visit the branch to make the payment.

The new portal is equipped with additional features such as favorites, track the status of my bid and browsing history which not only enriches the user experience, but also makes the interface extremely interactive.

Speaking at the launch of this new portal, Mr. Fahad Al Suwaidi, Senior Claims Manager at QIC says, “With the launch of QIC Insured’s new bidding portal, customers and dealers can experience the excitement of an auction from the comfort of their home or office, on their computers or mobile devices. Given the convenience, we’re hopeful that the bids would keep rolling in.”
